- LAYOUT VARIETY – Hole configurations and varying lengths (par 3, 4, and 5).
- DISTINCTIVENESS – The difference in each hole compared to other courses in the region.
- AESTHETICS – Surrounding views and settings that enhance the enjoyment of play.
- CONDITIONING – Fairway and green speeds and receptiveness of the ball.
- CHARACTER – Course design based on the layout ingenuity and uniqueness of characteristics.
